How to Create Web Components with Stencil


If you want to have standardized componetns for your apps or compan CI, relying on a design system with web components is one of the best ways to get started.

In this Quick Win we will dive into Stencil, which is a web component compiler created by the makers of Ionic. In fact, all Ionic components are web components built with Stencil!


Along our way we will develop a small counter component which can be used, changed and styled from the outside like you are used to from other components.

In the end we will also integrate this web component directly in an Ionic Angular project!
